'My cat gaslight me': Person retells the hissterical story of how their sneaky cat made them believe their house was haunted

Cats are criminals. They are shameless criminals. And we mean that literally. We really do. Ever since we adopted our first cat, the crime rate in our houses skyrocketed, and it has never gone back down since. That's the thing that people who hate cats complain about the most - the endless shenanigans, but not us. People like us who love cats… this is one of the things that we love the most about them. Life would be so boring without our cats being the chaos causers that they are. And this story is proof. 

This person can complain all they want about their cat gaslighting them, but we know the truth. No, no, it's not that the cat didn't gaslight them. The cat totally did. It's obvious. It's the fact that we know this cat owners loves this. We know that they will be telling this story over and over until the end of their lives. Because it's awesome. Because this cat outsmarted them, made them think their house was haunted, and without this meowment, their life would be ten thousand times more boring.

  • Look, when we read the title of this thing - “my cat gaslit me” - we thought it would be a ridiculous story. We thought it would be such an exaggeration. It is not. This is epic. It's pawmazing. We love it. This person was 100% gaslit by their cat, and we are just so thankful that they decided to share the story.

  • We wonder what goes on through our cat's brains when they do this stuff to us. Because this is not the first cat to prank its owner like that. It happens practically every day in every household that has a cat. We'll never know, we suppose, exactly why they do this, but if we had to guess, we think that… cats just like watching the fire burn.

    Sailor_Chibi Please don't eat food that your cat's paws have been on no matter how broke you are. Cats use their paws to cover their and sh in the kitty litter. It's extremely unhygienic and very dangerous for you to do. Also, try to train your cat to stay off the counter and the table at least when you're standing right there.
